College life
So I am here and classes started yesterday. This is the first time I have really had a break from doing homework. My honors classes have an insane amount of work. I will be reading around 200 pages a night. The teachers told us we should read it more than once, like anyone will ever have time to actually do that. My spanish class has native spanish speakers in it, and I feel completely overwhelmed just listening to the teacher talk. Biology and math seem like they will be good. Despite the work, I really like all of my classes, and it is exactly what I expected. I think I am really going to like all of my teachers. My roommate is awesome, and we get along so well which is wonderful. I have been here for a week, so I have gotten to explore Chicago a bit, and I am so excited to do that more. On Saturday a group of us even went to a concert. We saw Engine Down, Bella Lea, and Parish School. I had never heard of any of those groups before, but I really enjoyed the concert. It feels so weird living away from home, but I am adjusting I guess. Everything is different, but me and Ruby decided that our room is very cozy haha. I think it is starting to feel like home. Well I think my break is over, and I need to go back to reading.
